MA Credentialing Course Registration Information

Under Stage 2 of Meaningful Use, as of January 1, 2015, a medical assistant may not enter information into an electronic prescription system until the medical assistant has been credentialed to do so by an agency unrelated to the employer.

To get credentialed or re-credentialed:

1. Complete the registration information by entering your Name, Email and other required information. Then enter the email address and the NAME you would like PRINTED on the CERTIFICATE. If your employer is a FSDDS member, the fee will be $50. If they are not a member, the fee is $175.

2. Once your registration has been processed, you will be emailed a link to the video and to the online exam within 1-3 days of completion.

3. Download, watch and listen to the video(MP4) (approximately 30 minutes in length)
NOTE: Due to the size of the video(MP4) it may take 5-20 minutes to download depending on your internet connection speed.

4. Take the online exam. Once finished you will be presented with a downloadable certificate.
